§ 1100. Use districts.

For the purpose of this ordinance, the zoning districts of Halifax County as delineated on the Official Zoning Map of Halifax County, North Carolina which shall include all maps designated and adopted by the county commissioners may be divided into the following designated use districts:

RA	—	Residential-Agricultural District
R-12	—	Suburban Residential District
R-8	—	Residential District
R-6	—	Apartment Residential District
LR	—	Lakeside Residential District
GC	—	Lakeside Group Camp District
TC	—	Lakeside Tent or Trailer Camp District
O&I	—	Office and Institutional District
HB	—	Highway Business District
LB	—	Lakeside Business District
SD	—	Neighborhood Shopping District
LI	—	Light Industrial District
HI	—	Heavy Industrial District
AP	—	Airport District
