Halifax County will provide, at it's expense, medical insurance (hospitalization)
for all employees who retire with at least 30 years service, of which, the last 20
years is service with Halifax County. Coverage will cease when the retiree reaches
65 years of age and is eligible for medicare.
If the retiree wishes to retain dental coverage, they may do so by paying the full
premium amount.
This policy will be evaluated on a yearly basis.
This policy is not retroactive.
