  • Full-time employees eligible for overtime compensation will normally work no more than five eight-hour days per week, except that law enforcement personnel and solid waste personnel will follow a weekly work schedule to be determined by the sheriff and solid waste director. Exempt department heads will work those hours necessary to assure the satisfactory performance of their departments. When the activities of a particular department require some other schedule to meet work needs, the county manager may authorize a deviation from the normal schedule.
