§ 6-11. ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE

Latest version.
  • During periods in which the county manager deems it advisable for employees either (1) not to report to work, (2) report to work on a delayed schedule, or (3) leave work early (such as instances in which there may be dangerous weather conditions, power outages, emergency situations, etc.), when it has been determined that service will be suspended; time lost may be charged to annual leave. When time lost is charged to annual leave, the department and agency heads may arrange schedules whereby employees may be given an opportunity to make up time not worked rather than charging it to annual leave.
