§ 9-2. EXTENSION OF BC/BS FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT

Extension of BC/BS beyond the 18-month period was approved for law enforcement personnel.
Effective May 3, 1988, the county commissioners approved continued coverage to age 62, which is the age to which the county pays LEO supplemental retirement. This policy will apply to law enforcement officers only, and they must request this extension in writing and continue to pay the full premium.
