§ 22-63. Conflicts of interest.

  • Unless he is the owner of the building, no officer or employee of the inspection department shall be financially interested in the furnishing of labor, materials or appliances for the construction, alteration or maintenance of a building or any part thereof, or in the making of plans or specifications therefor. No officer or employee of the inspection department shall engage in any work which is inconsistent with his duties or with the interests of the county or of any city or town in which he has code enforcement responsibilities.
