§ 2-45. Penalty.

Violation of this article shall subject the offender to a civil penalty in the amount of $25.00 to be recovered by the county. Violator shall be issued a written citation which must be paid to the county within 48 hours. Violation of this article shall not constitute a misdemeanor or infraction punishable under G.S. 153A-123. Violation of this article by an employee or failure of an employee of the county to enforce this article shall constitute grounds for disciplinary action.
