The purpose of this article is to regulate and guide the placement of and the establishment
of travel trailer parks in order to promote the public health, safety, and general
welfare of the citizens of Halifax County, North Carolina. This chapter is designed
to accomplish the following specific objectives: (1) to further the orderly layout
of such parks; (2) to secure safety from fire, panic, and other dangers; (3) to provide
adequate light and air; and (4) to insure that facilities for transportation, parking,
water supply, sewage, and recreation are provided for park residents.
