§ 62-51. Intent.

The purpose and objectives for which this chapter is adopted and enacted are as follows:
(1)

To promote the public health, safety, and general welfare.

(2)

To preserve the natural scenic beauty of areas in the vicinity of the state maintained public roads.

(3)

To protect the public from health nuisances and safety hazards by controlling vectors, concentrations or volatile or poisonous materials, and sources of danger to children.
