§ 6-13.4. Leave charges.

For the birth of a child, the parents shall exhaust available vacation leave and sick leave before going on leave without pay. The 12-week leave period must be taken all at once.

For the adoption of a child, the parents shall exhaust available vacation leave and sick leave before going on leave without pay. The 12-week leave period must be taken all at once.

For the illness of an employee's child, spouse, or parent, the employee shall exhaust available sick and vacation leave before going on leave without pay.

4.

For the employee's illness, the employee shall exhaust available sick and vacation leave before going on leave without pay.

Periods of paid leave will count towards any part of the 12 workweeks. This includes leave taken under the Voluntary Shared Leave Policy.
