§ 6-4.3. Sick leave, manner of taking.

Earned sick leave may be taken as needed by the employee and as approved by the department head, provided no employee may take less than one hour of sick leave at any time. No employee shall be granted sick leave in excess of his accrued leave, except in cases of extreme emergency and as approved by his department head and the county manager.
