§ 6-4.2. Sick leave, manner of accumulation.

Each employee will earn sick leave at the rate of one day (7.50 hours) for each completed month, or 12 days for each completed year of service.

Each part-time employee will earn sick leave on the number of hours worked by the employee each month. A "completed month" will be deemed to mean any month in which an employee works at least one-half the workdays. A "complete year" will mean a period of 12 months in which an employee is in active pay status or is receiving workmen's compensation payments while on leave without pay.
