§ 9-11. PHYSICIAN FOR COUNTY EMPLOYEES

The county's Primary Care Physician is Dr. R. E. Frazier, Roanoke Clinic, for employees injured on the job. The cost of the visit will be paid by Worker's Compensation and Dr. Frazier's office will submit the claim.
If the Roanoke Clinic is not open, the Secondary Care Physician is Prime Care in the Great Falls Shopping Center.
if both of these offices are closed, injured employees are taken to the Halifax Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.
In cases where injured employees are not seen by Dr. Frazier, follow-ups are required for official evaluation.
A form has been developed to have the employee take to Dr. Frazier's office and may be obtained from the personnel office.
The procedure is mandatory and even if an employee wants to see their own personal physician, they still must see Dr. Frazier for his official evaluation.
