§ 9-7. LITIGATION RESULTING FROM EMPLOYMENT

An employee who is named as a defendant in any civil or criminal action as a result of performing their duties as an employee of the county will be provided legal representation, so long as the employee was acting within the scope of his or her authority and job description and was performing his or her duties in accordance with the correct policies and procedures for the job.
