Annual vacation leave shall be accumulated according to years of aggregate county
service established by the table below.

Leave may be accumulated without any applicable maximum until December 31st of each
calendar year. However, if an employee separates from service, payment for accumulated
leave shall not exceed 30 days. On December 31st, any employee with more than 30 days
of accumulated leave shall have the excess accumulation transferred to sick leave.
New employees may accumulate and take vacation leave during the probationary period.
